Picking Grapes

4 months

We don't have an after the haircut - he was not a happy camper at the end of it...

• He is sleeping 10-11 hours at night, we have had only a couple of nights that he didn't sleep good and that was during his growth spurt and when he started rolling.
• He is rolling over, don't think I'll catch the complete roll as he seems to have lost interest in rolling completely vs just going tummy to back or back to tummy as he desires.
• Chews on his hands, burp cloth, shirt, bib, taggie or whatever else he can get to his mouth.
• He found his thumb, but normally sucks on his two fingers.
• Is sitting up good in his bumbo.
• Has started jumping a little in his jumperoo, likes it, but only enjoys it for about 30 minutes.
• Weighed 12 lbs at 3.5 months, we think he is now between 12.5 and 13 pounds. He was measured at 25.25 inches.
• Got his first haircut
• Is trying to hold his bottle (Johnny says he did, I haven't seen it yet)
  

Enjoying the Women's Retreat

The previous posts are more for me, hopefully I will do a far better job of keeping the blog updated for my sake...

Time has gone by way to fast, and I realized that I didn't take many pictures in August. Here are some pictures of when people came and visited and met Johnathan for the first time.

He is rolling over completely as of today! He has never been interested in rolling onto his tummy from his back and today he tried it and was successful. By the afternoon he was rolling all over the living room floor.

Johnathan's Dedication

Johnny had the privilege of dedicating Johnathan to the Lord on Sunday. The dedication comes out of 1 Samuel chapter 1 when Hannah dedicated Samuel to the Lord.

3 Months

Tried to get a smile, but he was too entertained by the flash!

With Jordyn and Jaedyn. It has amazed me how every girl that meets him...no matter the age, they are very mothering!

• He rolled from his tummy to his back 2 days after he was 2 months old.
• He started sleeping through the night regularly right around when he was 2 months, and then he had several weeks of waking up due to being wet or moving around and his arm getting stuck in his crib. Once we put him on his tummy and got a breathable crib bumper, he started sleeping between 8 and 9 hours at night.
• He was about 11 lbs 6 ounces and we measured him at around 25 inches.
• He loves people and gives lots of big smiles.
• He loves laying on the floor on his blanket.
• He laughs a lot, especially when we do something he finds funny.
  

2 Months

You can see how much bigger he has gotten.

His head is getting stronger, but he still flops.

• He has very good head control. When you lay him down on his tummy he looks like a turtle.
• He loves being on his tummy.
• He is rolling to his back from his side and his back to his side.
• He is close to rolling over.
• Smiling a lot more!
• He slept through the night a couple of times in the last week.
• He is laughing.
• Loves his bath time (especially when Daddy gives it!)
• Found that he had bad case of cradle cap through all of his hair.
• Weighs 10 lbs 3 ounces and is 24 and a 1/4 inches.
