Johnathan Enjoying His First White Christmas

 

Christmas

 

Johnathan got tools, which were the big winner this year. He loves going out to the garage with daddy to work with his tools. When he got them, he took them and loaded them up onto his truck and drove somewhere. He definitely enjoyed Christmas this year. 

He loved watching his Christmas movie - Why do we call it Christmas with Buck Denver. He  enjoyed seeing the Christmas lights and opening up a book each day (or most of the days) leading up to Christmas. He enjoyed putting on the ornaments on the Jesse tree when we did it, we will do a much better job of doing the devotional next year each day rather than playing catch up.

Johnathan's Gingerbread House

We made the nativity scene as our gingerbread house at a playgroup. We will definitely be doing this each Christmas season. When we were leaving, I dropped it, so I had to do some repairs at home to take a picture of it.
 

One Month

 

• She does not like tummy time
• Has already outgrown her newborn clothes, and newborn diaper covers
• At 2 weeks she was 8 lbs 6 oz, and 21 and 1/4 inches long
• She eats every 2-3 hours during the day and every 3 at night.
• She sleeps a lot more than Johnathan, and does not seem to be as alert as he was at this age because of it. 
• She has smiled. I took about 60 pictures trying to capture it, but I couldn't
• She is getting pretty good head control, she has spent a lot of time on her tummy if you count the time she is sleeping on my chest. She spits up a lot at night, and I end up letting her sleep with me simply so I can sleep to recuperate and keep up with Johnathan.

Johnathan's Pumpkins

He painted the big pumpkin with Grandma when they came to visit and made the small one while at the McGuckin's when we were in the hospital with Abigail. We will make it to a pumpkin patch next year...
